Manhattan Beach Photographer

As a professional and award-winning drone, family, portrait, and wedding photographer based in Manhattan Beach, California, I specialize in capturing stunning and memorable photos for my clients. Whether you're looking for a beautiful beach photo session, a family portrait, or a romantic engagement shoot, I have the skills and expertise to create the perfect image.

Manhattan Beach Attractions

Manhattan Beach is one of the most picturesque beach towns in the Los Angeles area, offering a wide range of activities and attractions for visitors and locals alike. Next to Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and El Segundo, it is tucked next to a variety of beach cities. From riding the waves and sunbathing on the beach, to dining at some of the best restaurants and strolling along the pier, there's always something to see and do. The paved pathways make it easy to access the beach and enjoy the beautiful California sunshine.

Downtown Manhattan Beach

Downtown Manhattan Beach is home to over 150 merchants, including art galleries, home furnishing shops, clothing stores, and more. There are also over 50 restaurants, coffeehouses, and delis to explore, offering a wide range of dining options for everyone. Some of the must-visit spots include:

  • Love & Salt
  • Fishbar
  • The Strand House
  • Calo Kitchen & Tequila

For a unique experience, be sure to check out the famous Manhattan Beach Food Tour, which takes visitors on a culinary journey through the downtown area.

Manhattan Beach Pier

The Manhattan Beach Pier is a popular location for photography, with its photogenic red roofing roundhouse and steel turquoise-colored railing that runs the length of the pier. The pier is 928 feet long and is the oldest concrete pier on the west coast. It was refurbished and restored in the 1990s, and I frequently provide drone services in photography and videography at this location.

Wedding Venues

For couples planning their wedding, there are many great venues to choose from in Manhattan Beach, including:

  • The Shade Hotel
  • Verandas Beach House
  • Ayers Hotel

These venues offer beautiful settings for your special day at a reasonable cost compared to other areas in Los Angeles.

Bruces' Beach

Bruces' Beach is a historic beach and park located in the city of Manhattan Beach, California. It was once owned by a Black couple, Charles and Willa Bruce, who bought the land in 1912. At that time, the area was a whites-only beach, but the Bruces opened it to people of all races. They also built a resort on the property, which became a popular destination for Black Angelenos during the era of segregation. However, in 1924, the city of Manhattan Beach used eminent domain to seize the land from the Bruces and their resort was forced to close. Today, Bruces' Beach is a small park with picnic tables and a playground, but it remains an important piece of history and a reminder of the ongoing fight for racial equality.

Sand Dune Park

I love working out at the famous Sand Dune Park. The sandhill provides a challenging workout, but for those who prefer a different option, the steps leading to the top offer a great workout. From the top of the dune, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the city.

If you're in the area and looking for a manhattan beach photographer, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would be thrilled to meet you and discuss your photography needs.
